Michael Traurig
Michael is the Founder and Managing Director of Traurig & Partner Consulting GmbH, where he advises international clients on ERP transformations, solution governance, and quality assurance.
Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Manager and ERP Solution Architect at Lang & Fragmeier Consulting, where he was responsible for solution architecture in complex ERP implementations and supported global roll-out initiatives.
Before that, he held leadership positions at Avanade as Group Manager and ERP Functional Application Architect, where he defined target architectures and led international project teams. At HSO, he acted as Capability Manager and Solution Architect, building ERP capabilities and driving finance-focused transformation projects.
Earlier in his career, he held senior finance and management positions, including Head of Finance and Accounting and Commercial Director roles. He has extensive experience in internal audit, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and financial process optimization, providing him with a strong foundation for finance-driven ERP transformation programs.
His strength lies in reducing complexity and creating structures that work.
He thinks in terms of structures, acts pragmatically, and delivers solutions that are viable both functionally and organizationally.
His guiding principle: “Keep it stupid simple” which is inspired by Ockham’s razor, because sustainable success comes not from complexity, but from clarity.

Vanessa Remarque
Vanessa (Junior Business Consultant) has been with the firm since its inception.
As part of her internship, she supports the team on various consulting projects and is gaining valuable hands-on experience.
She is studying Business Informatics with a focus on digital transformation in ERP projects.
Following her internship, she plans to write her bachelor’s thesis in collaboration with Traurig & Partner and further apply her theoretical knowledge to real-world problems.

Thomy Há
Thomy (Junior PowerPlatform Consultant) is studying Business Informatics at the University of Duisburg-Essen and will soon complete his bachelor’s degree before going on to pursue a master’s degree.
At Traurig & Partner, Thomy will gain insights into the Microsoft Power Platform, process automation, and digital transformation, while gaining valuable hands-on experience working on client projects.
With his degree at the intersection of IT and business, he has a solid foundation for analyzing business processes from both a technical and a business perspective.

Nils Meyer
Nils is 21 years old and a bachelor’s student in industrial engineering with a focus on energy technology at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld.
Through various internships, including at Siemens and Thyssenkrupp, Nils has already gained valuable initial practical experience in agile project management.
At Traurig & Partner, a boutique consulting firm specializing in digital transformation, Nils will have the opportunity to gain insight into the areas of Dynamics 365 implementation, architecture and design assurance, as well as process management and project management.
